Whether sitting front-row-center at an Eric Clapton concert in New York City, or standing front-row-center at the gates of Strawberry Field in Liverpool, Jim O'Donnell has traveled the globe as a journalist for over 30 years, searching out rock stories.
THE ROCK AND ROLL JOURNAL presents some of those stories. Many are written in a lively style with frequent comic touches that step beyond center-stage and into the realm of fresh insight. You will be reminded that rock 'n' roll not only has a good beat, but your mind can dance to it.
The content of this site will change, as time allows. Most of the content will consist of pieces that have been previously published. There will occasionally be an article that was written, shoved into a file cabinet, and forgotten about. There will also be some new stuff.
